Message in response to the tragic event in London, ON

Dear students, staff, families, and community,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our flags will again, be flown at half-mast.

In order to support the Muslim community and those affected by the horrible attack on the Muslim family in London, Ontario, all BHNCDSB school and building flags will be placed and remain at half-mast until sunset today. It is incredibly sad that we continue to witness horrific actions sparked by Islamophobia. We stand in solidarity with our local and the extended Muslim communities at this difficult time and our prayers are with those impacted by this horrible form of discrimination.

Please reach out to your teacher or your school administrator should you or someone you know require support in response to this tragic event.
